The Dothan Wolves (Dothan, AL) basketball edged the host Vestavia Hills Rebels (Vestavia Hills, AL), 56-53 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Wolves now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hale County for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14. Dothan will play a Wildcats team coming off a 69-51 non-league win over Central (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-3.
