With the victory, Southwestern Randolph advances its record to 2-4 on the year. The Cougars host Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC) to meet the Patriots in a 1A/2A Piedmont test on Tuesday, December 17. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 2-5. Providence Grove lost 59-47 in their recent league test against Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC)

The Golden Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their test against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights come into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, North Davidson was nipped by North Stanly (New London, NC), 74-69, in a non-league test.
