South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Edgewood Lions (West Covina, CA), 61-53 in a non-league match.

With the victory, South Hills advances its record to 5-6 on the year. The Huskies travel to Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA) to meet the Heralds in a non-league match on Monday, December 16. The Heralds enter the match with a record of 6-5. Whittier Christian lost 87-47 in their recent non-league match against Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA)

The Lions now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Workman for a Miramonte match on Tuesday, December 17. Edgewood will meet a Lobos squad coming off a 94-36 non-league win over Charter Oak (Covina, CA). The Lobos record now stands at 10-3.
