Texas High School Basketball - Miller overwhelmed by Edinburg North

In Friday's non-league test, the Edinburg North Cougars (Edinburg, TX) basketball squad trounced the host Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX), by a margin of 82-52.

The Cougars (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against La Feria (La Feria, TX). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, La Feria smashed Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX), 67-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Buccaneers confront the King Mustangs (Corpus Christi, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 29 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Miller will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 8-8 record after their 82-42 league loss to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX).
