In Friday's non-league contest, the host Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers basketball team scored a good 90-78 win over the Lester Prairie Bulldogs.
The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN). The Fire come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Holy Family Catholic was topped by Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN), 79-59, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds (Winthrop, MN) in a A Section 2 contest, on Friday, December 13. Lester Prairie will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 79-48 league loss to Cedar Mountain (Morgan, MN).
