The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX) and the host Stacey Eagles (San Antonio, TX), observed Hondo's basketball team knock off Stacey by a score of 48-40.

The Owls (2-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Latexo (Latexo, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Latexo was knocked off by John F. Kennedy (San Antonio, TX), 59-44, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Warren Warriors (Warren, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 13. Stacey will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record.
