In Friday's non-league test, the Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Intrinsic Mustangs (Chicago, IL), by a final score of 81-16.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs (Cicero, IL) in a West Suburban - Gold test, on Saturday, December 14. Leyden will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 1-7 record after their 55-41 non-league loss to Maine West (Des Plaines, IL).
The Mustangs (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Chicago Academy (Chicago, IL). The Cougars come into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Chicago Academy was overwhelmed by Senn (Chicago, IL), 60-23, in a league test.
