The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Orangefield Bobcats (Orangefield, TX) and the visiting Jasper Bulldogs (Jasper, TX), observed Orangefield's basketball team knock off Jasper by a score of 62-43.

The Bobcats (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against La Marque (La Marque, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 17-0 record. In their last challenge, La Marque prevailed over Livingston (Livingston, TX), 58-33, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Vidor Pirates (Vidor, TX) in a 4A Region III District 18 challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Jasper will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 51-43 non-league win over New Caney (New Caney, TX).
