The Lyon County Lyons basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Union County Braves to 58 in the Lyons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lyons now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Crittenden County for a District 5 game on Tuesday, December 17. Lyon County will play a Rockets team coming off a 82-29 non-league loss to Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Rockets record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Union County falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Braves host Heritage Christian Academy (Hopkinsville, KY) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Monday, December 16. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 1-2. Heritage Christian Academy lost 67-22 in their recent non-league game against Foundation Christian Academy (Bowling Green, KY)
