In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Port Neches-Groves Indians basketball team scored a good 59-46 triumph over the Montgomery Bears.

The Indians (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Huntsville (Huntsville, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Huntsville topped A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX), 74-69, in a non-league contest.
