The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Pinkerton Astros (Derry, NH) and the host Nashua North Titans (Nashua, NH), observed Pinkerton's basketball team overcome Nashua North by a margin of 78-66.

The Astros (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Nashua South (Nashua, NH). The Purple Panthers come into the Division I challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Nashua South defeated Goffstown (Goffstown, NH), 74-60, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Titans battle the Bedford Bulldogs (Bedford, NH) in a Division I challenge, on Monday, December 16. Nashua North will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 73-66 league loss to Trinity (Manchester, NH).
