The Pike County Central Hawks basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Rowan County Vikings to 44 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Betsy Layne for a non-league game on Monday, December 16. Pike County Central will play a Bobcats team coming off a 80-77 league win over Floyd Central (Eastern, KY). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Rowan County falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Floyd Central (Eastern, KY) to play the Jaguars in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 3-0. Floyd Central won 70-60 in their recent non-league game against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY)
