In Friday's league contest, the visiting Thornridge Falcons basketball team scored a close 50-47 win over the Crete-Monee Warriors.

The Falcons (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Thornton (Harvey, IL). The Wildcats enter the battle with a 0-1 record.

The Warriors now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richards for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 17.
