The Spring Creek Spartans basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Truckee Wolverines to 41 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Wooster for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Spring Creek will confront a Colts team coming off a 61-55 non-league win over McQueen (Reno, NV). The Colts record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Truckee falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to confront the Greenwave in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Greenwave go into the game with a record of 1-4. Churchill County won 54-24 in their recent non-league game against Sparks (Sparks, NV)
