North Carolina High School Basketball - Ballantyne Ridge falls to Sun Valley

The Ballantyne Ridge Wolves basketball squad (Charlotte, NC), was outscored 46-35 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC)

With the victory, Sun Valley advances its record to 4-5 on the year. The Spartans host Forest Hills (Marshville, NC) to meet the Yellow Jackets in a non-league battle on Monday, December 16. The Yellow Jackets enter the battle with a record of 4-1. Forest Hills won 68-47 in their recent non-league battle against Montgomery Central (Troy, NC)

The Wolves now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Myers Park for a 4A South Meck battle on Tuesday, December 17. Ballantyne Ridge will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 35-33 non-league loss to Concord Academy (Concord, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-8.
