The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Dunbar Poets (Baltimore, MD) and the host Loch Raven Raiders (Towson, MD), observed Dunbar's basketball team knock off Loch Raven by a score of 47-33.
The Poets (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Great Mills dropped by Colonial Forge (Stafford, VA), 57-26, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Catonsville Comets (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Loch Raven will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 44-17 non-league loss to Mount de Sales Academy (Catonsville, MD).
