In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Exeter Monarchs basketball team scored a close 46-42 win over the Mira Monte Lions.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Farmersville Aztecs (Farmersville, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14. Mira Monte will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Aztecs come into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 44-14 non-league win over Woodlake (Woodlake, CA).
