In Friday's non-league contest, the host Hobbs Eagles basketball team scored a good 50-32 win over the Frenship Tigers.
The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Alamogordo was topped by Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM), 63-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Seminole Indians (Seminole, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Frenship will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 14-4 record after their 75-31 non-league win over Permian (Odessa, TX).
