North Carolina High School Basketball - North Mecklenburg crushes Hickory Ridge

December 13, 2024: Harrisburg, NC 28075

The North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) basketball crushed the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC), 58-24 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Vikings now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hough for a 3A/4A Queen City contest on Monday, December 16. North Mecklenburg will confront a Huskies team coming off a 55-31 non-league win over Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 5-0.

In their next game, the Ragin' Bulls confront the Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) in a 4A Greater Metro contest, on Friday, December 20. Hickory Ridge will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 51-44 league loss to Cox Mill (Concord, NC).
