The Wichita County Indians basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Hoxie Indians to 42 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now have a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hodgeman County for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Wichita County will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 54-37 non-league win over Osborne (Osborne, KS). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Hoxie falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Thomas More Prep-Marian (Hays, KS) to confront the Monarchs in a Mid-Continent game on Tuesday, December 17. The Monarchs go into the game with a record of 2-2. Thomas More Prep-Marian won 54-21 in their recent league game against Hill City (Hill City, KS)
