The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mize Bulldogs (Mize, MS) and the visiting Union Yellowjackets (Union, MS), observed Mize's basketball team knock off Union by a score of 48-39.

The Bulldogs (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Enterprise (Enterprise, MS). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Enterprise was knocked off by Kemper County (DeKalb, MS), 62-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets encounter the Lake Hornets (Lake, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Union will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 47-38 non-league win over Pisgah (Sandhill, MS).
