Georgia High School Basketball - Winder-Barrow victorious over Monroe Area

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs basketball team scored a good 56-38 triumph over the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes.
The Bulldoggs (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Alcovy (Covington, GA). The Tigers go into the AAAAA Region 8 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Alcovy was topped by Carver (Atlanta, GA), 46-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Purple Hurricanes battle the Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Monroe Area will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 53-42 league win over Rabun County (Tiger, GA).
