High School Basketball - Varsity Opponent can't hold off Norfolk Christian

Norfolk Christian Ambassadors (Norfolk, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their basketball team edge the host Varsity Opponent (, ), 50-43 in a non-league challenge.
The Ambassadors (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Frances Academy edged Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD), 63-42, in a league challenge.

Varsity Opponent will attempt to improve on its 63-192 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 58-14 league win over New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA).
