The Powers Cruisers basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Waldport Irish to 37 in the Cruisers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cruisers now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they host North Clackamas Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Powers will confront a Saints team coming off a 66-23 non-league win over Sherman (Moro, OR). The Saints record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Waldport falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Irish travel to Siuslaw (Florence, OR) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 1-4. Siuslaw lost 45-12 in their recent league game against North Valley (Grants Pass, OR)
