In Friday's non-league contest, the host Broughton Capitals basketball team scored a close 37-30 triumph over the Millbrook Wildcats.
The Capitals (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Green Level (Cary, NC). The Gators go into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Green Level nipped Cary (Cary, NC), 41-8, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Millbrook will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 54-7 non-league loss to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC).
