The Newell Irrigators basketball squad (Newell, SD), was crushed 50-4 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Harding County Ranchers (Buffalo, SD)

With the victory, Harding County advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Ranchers travel to Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD) to meet the Golddiggers in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 14. The Golddiggers enter the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Irrigators now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wall for a non-league battle on Monday, February 10.
