In Friday's non-league contest, the host Christ the King Gladiators basketball team scored a big 56-27 win over the Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes.

The Gladiators (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Leo (Chicago, IL). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Leo was trounced by St. Laurence (Burbank, IL), 67-53, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Schaumburg Christian Conquerors (Schaumburg, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Marian Central Catholic will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Conquerors come into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 62-17 non-league win over Mooseheart (Mooseheart, IL).
