In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Petoskey Northmen basketball team scored a big 56-28 triumph over the Dow Chargers.
The Northmen (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Boyne City (Boyne City, MI). The Ramblers go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Boyne City smashed McBain (McBain, MI), 49-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Chargers battle the Swartz Creek Dragons (Swartz Creek, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Dow will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 56-52 non-league loss to Kearsley (Flint, MI).
