The Southwestern Randolph Cougars basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting East Davidson Golden Eagles to 34 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Providence Grove for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Southwestern Randolph will confront a Patriots team coming off a 46-40 non-league loss to Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, East Davidson falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host North Davidson (Lexington, NC) to confront the Black Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Black Knights go into the game with a record of 3-3. North Davidson lost 60-57 in their recent non-league game against North Stanly (New London, NC)
