Kentucky High School Basketball - Apollo victorious over Paducah Tilghman

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Apollo Eagles basketball squad scored a nice 74-65 victory over the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado.

Next, the Eagles face the Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 16. Apollo will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Bears enter the outing with a 0-4 record after their 80-57 league loss to Trinity (Whitesville, KY).

The Blue Tornado (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Community Christian (Paducah, KY). The Warriors go into the District 2 game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Community Christian was toppled by Fulton County (Hickman, KY), 83-48, in a non-league game.
