In Saturday's non-league test, the Butler Bears (Louisville, KY) basketball squad trounced the host Bardstown Tigers (Bardstown, KY), by a tally of 75-39.
The Bears now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bullitt East for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 16. Butler will play a Chargers team coming off a 66-52 league win over Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY). The Chargers record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Bardstown falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Washington County (Springfield, KY) to play the Commanders in a District 19 bout on Tuesday, December 16. The Commanders go into the bout with a record of 0-4.
