The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Belleville Buccaneers (Belleville, NJ) and the host Tech Panthers (Newark, NJ), observed Belleville's basketball team overcome Tech by a margin of 51-41.

The Buccaneers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ). The Minutemen come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the KIPP Newark Lab Sharks (Newark, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 16. Tech will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
