The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bergman Panthers (Bergman, AR) and the visiting Heber Springs Panthers (Heber Springs, AR), observed Bergman's basketball team overwhelm Heber Springs by a margin of 80-39.

The Panthers (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cave City (Cave City, AR). The Cavemen enter the 3A Region 2 battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Cave City was crushed by Valley Springs (Valley Springs, AR), 62-50, in a league battle.

The Panthers now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beebe for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 18. Heber Springs will meet a Badgers squad coming off a 80-75 non-league loss to Greenwood (Greenwood, AR). The Badgers record now stands at 2-8.
