The Bureau Valley Storm basketball team (Manlius, IL), was trounced 57-34 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Putnam County Panthers (Granville, IL)

The Panthers (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Somonauk (Somonauk, IL). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record.

In their next game, the Storm battle the Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 19. Bureau Valley will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Steamers come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 61-39 non-league win over West Carroll (Savanna, IL).
