The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Forestburg Longhorns (Forestburg, TX) and the host Caney Cougars (Caney, OK), observed Forestburg's basketball team knock off Caney by a score of 56-36.

The Longhorns (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Nocona (Nocona, TX). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Nocona prevailed over McLeod (McLeod, TX), 46-37, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Cougars meet the Boswell Scorpions (Boswell, OK) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, December 18. Caney will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record.
