The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX) and the visiting Honey Grove Warriors (Honey Grove, TX), observed Edgewood's basketball team knock off Honey Grove by a score of 49-34.

The Bulldogs (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Rains (Emory, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Rains was topped by Red River (Gainesville, TX), 77-35, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Hooks Hornets (Hooks, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 16. Honey Grove will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 5-6 record after their 55-38 non-league win over Haas Hall Academy (Bentonville, AR).
