The Okolona Chieftains basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Eupora Eagles to 59 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Chieftains now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host West Lowndes for a 1A Region 3 game on Tuesday, December 16. Okolona will confront a Panthers team coming off a 75-49 non-league win over McAdams (McAdams, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Eupora falls to 7-4 on the season. The Eagles host Houlka (Houlka, MS) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Monday, December 15. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 10-2. Houlka won 57-28 in their recent non-league outing against Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS)
