Ohio High School Basketball - Garfield nips Waterloo

December 13, 2025: Garrettsville, OH 44231

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Garfield G-Men basketball squad scored a tight 65-60 victory over the Waterloo Vikings.

With the victory, Garfield upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The G-Men host Ravenna (Ravenna, OH) to confront the Ravens in a non-league contest on Monday, December 15. The Ravens go into the contest with a record of 3-2. Ravenna won 73-34 in their recent league contest against Springfield (Akron, OH)

In their next game, the Vikings confront the Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest, on Tuesday, December 16. Waterloo will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 3-2 record after their 49-36 non-league win over Crestview (Columbiana, OH).
