In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns basketball team scored a close 73-68 triumph over the Holy Cross Tigers.
The Cajuns (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Stanislaus (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Rock-a-Chaws go into the non-league match with a 12-0 record. In their last match, St. Stanislaus got by Biloxi (Biloxi, MS), 39-36, in a non-league match.
The Tigers now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hahnville for a non-league match on Monday, December 15. Holy Cross will face a Tigers squad coming off a 63-48 non-league loss to Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.
