The Lanham Christian Lions basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Idea Timberwolves to 52 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Calverton for a Maryland Independent outing on Wednesday, December 17. Lanham Christian will clash with a squad coming off a 72-42 non-league win over Perry Hall Christian (Perry Hall, MD). The record now stands at 8-1.
The Timberwolves (2-6) will now prepare for their outing against Digital Pioneers Academy (Washington, DC). The Pythons enter the PCSAA A outing with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Digital Pioneers Academy toppled E.L. Haynes (Washington, DC), 65-16, in a league game.
