The Thorndale Bulldogs basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Lexington Eagles to 40 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now have a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Lorena for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. Thorndale will clash with a Leopards squad coming off a 37-33 non-league loss to Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 6-9.

The Eagles (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against La Grange (La Grange, TX). The Leopards enter the non-league outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, La Grange ran past Wharton (Wharton, TX), 56-53, in a non-league outing.
