Texas High School Basketball - Ray overwhelmed by McAllen

In Saturday's non-league test, the McAllen Bulldogs (McAllen, TX) basketball squad crushed the visiting Ray Texans (Corpus Christi, TX), by a tally of 74-40.

The Bulldogs now possess a 17-0 record. They play next when they host Rowe for a 5A Region IV District 31 bout on Tuesday, December 16. McAllen will play a Warriors team coming off a 34-22 non-league win over Weslaco East (Weslaco, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 12-9.

With the loss, Ray falls to 12-3 on the campaign. The Texans travel to Alice (Alice, TX) to play the Coyotes in a 5A Region IV District 29 bout on Tuesday, December 16. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Alice lost 50-44 in their recent non-league bout against Lee (Baytown, TX)
