The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Waltrip Rams (Houston, TX) and the host Sterling Raiders (Houston, TX), observed Waltrip's basketball team overcome Sterling by a score of 58-41.

The Rams (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Westbury (Houston, TX). The Huskies come into the 5A Region III District 21 challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Westbury dropped by Milby (Houston, TX), 65-61, in a non-league battle.

The Raiders now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milby for a 5A Region III District 21 battle on Saturday, December 20.
