The Goldthwaite Eagles basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Cooper Cougars to 38 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now have a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Childress for a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. Goldthwaite will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 62-32 non-league win over Brady (Brady, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-5.

The Cougars (3-14) will now prepare for their outing against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX). The Rebels enter the non-league outing with a 9-6 record. In their last outing, Midland Legacy routed Snyder (Snyder, TX), 62-25, in a non-league outing.
