Oregon High School Basketball - Gold Beach nips Lost River

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Gold Beach Panthers (Gold Beach, OR) and the host Lost River Raiders (Merrill, OR), observed Gold Beach's basketball team edge Lost River by a margin of 52-48.
The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Coquille (Coquille, OR). The Red Devils enter the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Coquille was nudged by Harrisburg (Harrisburg, OR), 35-33, in a non-league match.
The Raiders now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rogue Valley Adventist for a non-league match on Friday, December 19. Lost River will meet a Red Tail Hawks squad coming off a 52-21 non-league win over McKenzie (Finn Rock, OR). The Red Tail Hawks record now stands at 1-0.
