California High School Basketball - University trounced by Hesperia

Hesperia Scorpions (Hesperia, CA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host University Trojans (Irvine, CA), 71-12 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Hesperia betters its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Scorpions host Citrus Valley (Redlands, CA) to battle the Blackhawks in a non-league contest on Monday, December 22. The Blackhawks go into the contest with a record of 6-3.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 15. University will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record. The Vanguards go into the contest with a 9-0 record after their 65-24 non-league win over Avalon (Avalon, CA).
