The Republic County Buffaloes basketball team (Belleville, KS), dropped 44-28 in Saturday's league contest with the host Minneapolis Lions (Minneapolis, KS)

The Lions (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ellsworth (Ellsworth, KS). The Bearcats come into the North Central AA match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Ellsworth thwarted Central Plains (Claflin, KS), 42-34, in a non-league match.

The Buffaloes now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beloit for a North Central AA match on Tuesday, December 16. Republic County will face a Trojans squad coming off a 47-40 league win over Southeast of Saline (Gypsum, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.
