Texas High School Basketball - Orange Grove holds off Refugio

The Orange Grove Bulldogs basketball team scored 33 points and limited the visiting Refugio Bobcats to 31 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Falfurrias for a 3A Region IV District 30 game on Tuesday, December 16. Orange Grove will confront a Fightin' Jerseys team coming off a 36-33 non-league win over Pettus (Pettus, TX). The Fightin' Jerseys record now stands at 10-3.
The Bobcats (13-5) will now prepare for their outing against Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX). The Bobcats come into the 2A Region IV District 31 outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Skidmore-Tynan held off Premont (Premont, TX), 53-21, in a non-league outing.
