The Rock Ridge Phoenix basketball squad (Ashburn, VA), was crushed 53-27 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting St. Timothy's (Stevenson, MD)
The (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount de Sales Academy (Catonsville, MD). The Sailors come into the IAAM A challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Mount de Sales Academy trounced Catonsville (Baltimore, MD), 53-52, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Phoenix encounter the Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA) in a Dulles challenge, on Thursday, December 18. Rock Ridge will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 55-50 non-league win over Handley (Winchester, VA).
