New Mexico High School Basketball - Taos can't hold off West Las Vegas

West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) backers went home thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), 36-32 in a non-league contest.
The Dons (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Tularosa (Tularosa, NM). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record.
The Tigers now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Penasco for a non-league match on Monday, December 15. Taos will face a Panthers squad coming off a 54-45 non-league loss to Questa (Questa, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.
